Some campsite lights are purely practical. The Barebones Outpost Lantern manages to be practical while also looking like it belongs in an old railway station, a mountain cabin and a very expensive glamping setup all at once.

Inspired by vintage mining and warehouse lanterns, the Outpost Lantern combines heritage-style design with modern LED performance, creating a warm and inviting light that feels far more atmospheric than the usual flood of harsh campsite illumination. The Edison-style helix LED rope produces a soft 3000K glow that works beautifully around caravans, patios, camp kitchens and outdoor entertaining areas.

Unlike many rechargeable lanterns that become useless once the battery runs flat, the Outpost Lantern offers three separate power options. It can run via USB-C power, compatible Barebones rechargeable battery packs or standard D-cell batteries, making it a versatile lighting solution for everything from powered caravan parks through to off-grid touring.

The powder-coated steel housing is water and rust resistant with an IPX4 weatherproof rating, helping it handle real outdoor conditions while maintaining its distinctive industrial-inspired styling.
