Description
A proper camp meal starts with a proper knife. The Barebones Adventure Chef Knife is built for outdoor cooks who are tired of battling flimsy camping knives that struggle through a tomato, let alone a decent steak.
Designed as a true all-purpose kitchen knife for camp kitchens, caravans, overlanding setups and home cooking alike, it combines classic European blade shaping with rugged outdoor durability. The curved and tapered blade profile handles everything from slicing meat and chopping vegetables through to preparing herbs, fruit and campsite breakfasts. It is the sort of knife that quietly ends up doing 90% of the work every time food comes out.
The 20cm AUS-8 stainless steel blade offers strong edge retention, corrosion resistance and easy maintenance, making it well suited to outdoor environments where gear needs to perform without becoming high-maintenance. Full-tang construction adds strength and balance, while the thicker spine gives the knife enough confidence for heavier cutting tasks around camp.
Barebones finishes the knife with a durable composite rosewood handle that feels secure in hand while adding a little old-school character to the camp kitchen. Paired with the included full-grain leather sheath, it looks less like disposable camping gear and more like something you’d happily keep for years. Because good knives collect stories almost as quickly as they collect seasoning stains.

Rosewood Handle Care
If the handle becomes dry, apply a light coating of mineral oil or wood wax. Buff out handle to seal and protect wood. Repeat as needed. Drier climates may require increased care.
